On The Street began on the legendary Shakedown Street during the Grateful Dead tour of 1987, where we first started serving french bread pizza to hungry fans and building the spirit of community that still drives our business today. What began as a small operation on the road eventually grew into a family-run business rooted right here in Ithaca.

Today, On The Street brings Ithaca-style Mediterranean street food to local festivals, farmers markets, and our food truck. Our menu features fresh pita sandwiches, vibrant salads, and flavorful dishes inspired by Mediterranean traditions and the laid-back, welcoming culture that shaped our beginnings.
